What better way to do so than with a tasty sweet you can enjoy with your morning Nutritional Latte or before bed?

Keep reading to discover not only one of our favourite recipes that is packed with honey goodness but one also infused with turmeric, helping your body get that kick it really needs to feel its best. Did we mention this recipe is dairy-free and gluten-free too? You don't need to thank us!

Why is honey a must in your diet?

We touched on it a little above, but honey is packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatories, meaning it's a must for cleaning your gut of nasties. It can promote wellness, reduce blood pressure, reduce risk of heart disease, reduce pain caused by arthritis and even act as a preventative for some cancers.

Honey can also act as a natural de-stressor, helping you feel less anxious and heavy-headed, especially after a long day (or that looming Christmas period we're all thinking about at the moment). A teaspoon before bed won't just clear your mind. It can help you sleep better and enjoy the recovery you need to take on the next day.

Infused with Turmeric, our Jomeis Fine Foods Adaptogenic Turmeric Honey adds an extra layer of anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidising kick. Known for its ability to assist recovery and boost immunity, the turmeric inside can promote all-around wellness and healing, making it a must-have in your daily routine.

Is all honey the same?

You'd be surprised to learn that not all honey is the same! Depending on where it is farmed and the bees that produce it, some honey has far more healing properties than others. We are happy to announce that our Adaptogenic Honey is raw and pot set, allowing its nutritional properties to be amplified, making it one of the best for immune boosting and healing.

While supermarket honey will still have some properties, this honey is also typically sugar-filled and contains many fillers, meaning it won't have those same benefits you're craving. Always read the label and remember that honey from local producers will almost always be more beneficial.
